儿童个人信息相关请求:privacy@babyphdsafety.com

Children’s Privacy Notice

Last updated: 2026-07-21 | Version children-privacy-20260721-2

CASI is designed for parents and guardians to understand a child’s relationship with phones, AI, smart devices, and digital content. We treat child-related information with heightened care and apply high-privacy defaults, data minimization, and parent/guardian control principles.

1. Who should complete CASI

A parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult authorized by the guardian should complete the assessment. We do not encourage minors to submit the CASI In-Depth Assessment independently and do not provide child accounts.

2. Information we do not intentionally request

  • Child’s full legal name
  • Photos, videos, or voice recordings
  • Government identification numbers
  • Precise home address
  • Unnecessary direct identifiers such as specific school or class details

3. Child-related information that may be involved

The assessment may include age group, family technology-use patterns, screen or AI-related behaviors, household rules, privacy, and boundary choices. When linked with a parent email, order, or internal assessment ID, such data may relate to an identifiable child and therefore receives stricter handling.

4. Parent/guardian confirmation mechanism

Before a new CASI In-Depth Assessment starts, an adult is asked to select a role and confirm that they are an adult, are the parent/legal guardian or are authorized by the guardian, and consent to the processing of child-related information in the assessment as necessary to generate and deliver the CASI report. The server records the consent version and time. This confirmation is not automatically treated as a marketing subscription.

5. Children under 14 in mainland China

Where information can be linked to a child under 14, we apply the stricter child-personal-information rules that are applicable and require informed consent from a parent or guardian. Guardians may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent-based processing where applicable.

6. Children under 13 in the United States

CASI is currently directed to parents and guardians, not to children under 13 submitting personal information independently. The existing parent/guardian attestation supports the parent-facing assessment workflow and is not represented as a substitute for legally required verifiable parental consent in every COPPA-covered scenario. If we later offer child-directed services that directly collect personal information from a child under 13, we will implement applicable direct parental notice and verifiable parental consent before collection.

7. UK and European child-data principles

For online services that may be accessed by children, we use the child’s best interests, high-privacy defaults, data minimization, and transparent explanations as design principles. CASI’s core service is currently parent-facing, while child-related processing is kept to what is needed for report generation and necessary service support.

8. How the information is used

Child-related information is used to generate, deliver, and recover CASI In-Depth Assessment Reports, improve product quality, protect service security, and support de-identified or aggregate internal research analysis. We do not sell children’s personal information or use identifiable child data for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.

9. Retention, security, and deletion

We use server-side authorization, signed sessions, access controls, environment separation, and browser security headers. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized, or otherwise no longer processed as required. Guardians may contact us for deletion or correction requests.
